New Story
I'm writing a new story. It doesn't have a solid title at the moment, but for the sake of file names, I'm calling it "Sinners and Saints"

Even this time traveler didn't see that one comming.
I had a rant. All written out and ready to type out and post.
That rant isn't comming now.
Instead, well, it matters very little compared to what I'm going to actually post...

My baby sister is 17 years old.
My baby sister is pregnant.
My baby sister is probably going to get married before I do.
These two things shouldn't happen until she's at least in college.
Sadly, these two things will most likely happen within the next year.

On the plus side of this, hey, I'll get to be an uncle and actually get to SEE my niece or nephew once in a while rather than wonder if they're been taken by the state again. n.n

It has been a really strange and interresting last 24 hours.

What's shaking today?
What is going on today... Well, not much. Backing up posts on another blog for something. Won't talk about it just yet.
But I've also been doing research a bit into what classes I want to take in the spring.
And... the ex called me today. Out of the blue. It was awkward...
Especially when he told me he's seeing someone. Thankfully, it's no one that I know. But it is a girl. Ugh. That just drives the nail right further into the heart. I'm going to have a bit to talk about with my therapist in two weeks. We didn't talk long, since for him it was long distance. He said he was calling to "Check up on me" because "he knows how unstable I am" and that he heard about my "rough patch". Ugh. I wish he could just come right out and say things like a normal person. Just say that you were calling to make sure I was still alive. See, he has this thing. And I have this thing. 8 years ago, I tried to kill myself. More than once. And he was one of the few people who stood by me and helped me through it. And eventually, yeah, we did hook up. And were together for nearly 8 years (would have been 8 this last april...) and he knew I was a bit insane and actually certified as crazy as hell. But I'm not his problem anymore. He has his life, I have my life. And I'd rather he just not intrude on mine. EVER.
But I can understand that he might be worried. I started back on my downward spiral when we broke up (a mutual break-up) and after he finally moved out, I just broke I suppose, and didn't even realize it. Anyway, moving right along here... He was worried, wanted to make sure I was still breathing, and wanted to just touch base and see how I'm coping.
I'm fine now, really.
And that was that. Like I said.... AWKWARD....
IN OTHER NEWS....
My cat ate a shoestring today. It was funny, watching her try and cough it back up. Finally, I just had to give in and help her get it back out of her mouth. Because if it came out the other way.... Yeah. That's all I'm sayin.

Productivity Lately
I've been rather productive lately. n.n This pleases me.
First off, I explained the "scheduled posting" that Blogger has to Z. Which has been a lifesaver! She's put it to good use and backed up about 2 weeks worth of her posts on various projects we've got floating around out there. Ready to hit the interwebs at a specific time and specific date. Yet another reason why I switched back to this service. Plus, the ads are like, nil unless you wanna be in the adsense program. Which at this point in time, I'm not. But maybe later on down the line... Perhaps. n.n
In other news! Well, there isn't much else really. I've been busy as hell though with my writing projects, picking most of them (the really important ones) back up and out of the dust. I'm doing major re-writes for one of my old RPC series, and WOULD have finished Chapter 5 today had it not been for my therapy appt. earlier. When I got home, I needed food, tv, and a break. in that exact order. then laundry cause I'm out of clean boxers.
Then I updated a few other things, checked on the book I ordered 4 fucking months ago. It's nearly there!
And then.... watched the South Park re-run on Comedy Central tonight since I missed the first half of it when it aired the first time. All in all, it's been a good day. A really good day.
And, I have rediscovered my love of apple juice and soy burgers. n.n

Progress.
So, I've got my old "Battle Scarred" story re-re-re-re-re-re-re*infinity started on fiction press. doing MASSIVE edits because there are some scenes that are just... yeah. if it's not just badly written, then it's badly written smut. so i'm redoing it as i go along. but posting it on FP has really helped me to get my arse in gear. plus, if it'll make things much easier later on down the road when i put it into a book-ish format for myself. n.n
but i've decided to completely remove an 8 chapter story that takes place between my Battle Scarred story and the last story of my RPC trillogy. because it just doesn't make any sense anymore, and doesn't fit with the storyline really. it was written as mindless romance smut. XD
